Achieve Course Leader and Lecturer – Newbury (Pastoral)
Hours: 18.5 per week (3 days per week)
Contract: Full Year (52 weeks)
Salary: £14,891 – £16,180 (actual) / £29,783 – £32,361 (FTE)
A fantastic opportunity has become available for a dedicated and experienced Achieve Course Leader and Lecturer to join a supportive education team based in Newbury. This part-time position offers a chance to make a meaningful impact while working 18.5 hours per week across three days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging teaching sessions to learners.
- Ensure all programmes are compliant with current exam board and validation requirements, updating colleagues as needed.
- Carry out student assessments and/or verifications on-site or at external placements.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation, including Course Files, Student Handbooks, and Internal Verification Records.
- Monitor student progress in line with set assessment schedules and organisational expectations.
- Communicate with exam boards, higher education institutions, and administrative teams to ensure student registration, assessment, and accreditation records are accurate and up to date.
